THE CAR
Founded by three brothers, Henry, Clem and John, Studebaker originally made wagon and carriage bodies. In 1904 they produced their first car, based on a 16HP two-cylinder general automobile chassis. By the mid 1920's, they produced side valve six cylinder engines up to 5.8 litres. Models included the Light Six Roadster, the Big Six seven-seater saloon and the top of the range President Eight.

We have for sale a 1930 Big Six Saloon which is still in its original right hand drive format. Originally registered in New Zealand, it has resided in Switzerland since 1996 before being purchased by ourselves.

The car is in excellent all-round condition, starts on the button and drives beautifully. Comes with New Zealand and Swiss registration papers and will be registered in the UK by ourselves.
THE INTERIOR
The upholstery has been retrimmed in West of England beige velour and is in as new condition. The headlining is also in the sa,e fabric and in a similar condition. The interior is complimented by the fitting of a dark brown wool carpet.
THE DASHBOARD
The dash is brown painted metal with the instrument fascia finished in copper. All instrumentation is original and functioning correctly.
THE ENGINE
The engine is a straight six of 2700CC, producing 25.35HP and a top speed of 74MPH. The engine starts on the button and runs smoothly with good oil pressure and no leaks.
