Introduced in 1965,
the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was the first Rolls Royce
to be built with a monocoque instead of a separate chassis.
Although this was still a Rolls Royce that was meant to
glide rather than rush, to sweep rather than judder, to
be silent rather than extrovert and to be swift but utterly
sure, Rolls Royce gave it extraordinarily advanced specifications.
This was a car that could cruise at 100MPH and many of the
new breed of owners did just that.
We have a 1980 example which is in excellent condition
and drives superbly. Comes with V5, 1 years MOT and various
bills for work carried out.
