THE CAR

Introduced in 1965, the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was the first Rolls Royce to be built with a monocoque instead of a separate chassis. Although this was still a Rolls Royce that was meant to glide rather than rush, to sweep rather than judder, to be silent rather than extrovert and to be swift but utterly sure, Rolls Royce gave it extraordinarily advanced specifications. This was a car that could cruise at 100MPH and many of the new breed of owners did just that.

We have a 1980 example which is in excellent condition and drives superbly. Comes with V5, 1 years MOT and various bills for work carried out.

THE INTERIOR
The upholstery is trimmed in light grey leather with royal blue wool carpeting. Both are in very good condition.
THE DASHBOARD
The dash is trimmed in hide with the fascia in burr walnut veneer. All Rolls Royce instruments and controls are in place and in perfect working order.
THE ENGINE
The engine is a V8 OF 6750CC producing a top speed of 120MPH. It starts on the button and drives as it should.
