THE CAR

Launched in 1960, the MKII versions of the Jaguar Saloon range were a big improvement in both performance and handling. The MKII became the most successful Jaguar of the 1960's, particularly in 3.4 and 3.8 litre form, where the combination of sheer performance, character and value for money was unbeatable.

We have for sale a 1962 model which was imported from South Africa to Germany and resided in a private collection before being imported to Britain. The car was repainted and a new leather interior was fitted, both completed in 2001. Comes with South African exportation and German registration documents plus Jaguar heritage certificate.

THE INTERIOR
A completely new red leather interior with matching wool carpeting was fitted in 2001. As you would expect, the interior is in as new condition.
THE DASHBOARD
The dash and door cappings are finished in burr walnut, both of which are in excellent condition with no peeling or cracking. All Smiths instruments and controls are in place and operating correctly.
THE ENGINE
The engine is a six cylinder of 3442CC, producing 210BHP and a top speed of 120MPH.
